Happy 3rd Birthday, Lauryl!

Three years ago you came into our world, our much anticipated daughter and sister. You wowed us with your impressive 9lbs 10oz size and immediately held our hearts in your hands.

This year you are celebrating your 3rd birthday sick. You have a fever and a cough and not alot of energy. It's not the birthday day that I had planned for you, but we made it as special as possible while trapped at home. You can have your special mommy day, as promised, next week once you are feeling better AND you still have your party to look forward to too!

We started the day opening presents. You got a puppy themed bingo game, a number floor puzzle, a princess dress up outfit with shoes, and a new winter coat and warm gloves.

You received LOTS of birthday wishes over the phone b/c nobody wanted to risk exposing themselves to our germs.

We sang you happy birthday using a cupcake delivered by Mindi as part of her much appreciated illness survival package. You were thrilled!

Caroline, Nathan, and Madison delivered some balloons to brighten your day. They waved from a safe distance (the street!) and yelled birthday greetings.

They were even sweet enough to think of sis, who was also trapped at home sick the ENTIRE week!

Here's to my darling daughter on her 3rd birthday! You are, and always will be, our little princess. We love you Little Bug!
