Kendyl had her 6 year appointment this week. It's always fun to go see Dr. Kern when we're healthy. The kids adore him which makes it really nice. The minute he walked in he assured Kendyl that there would be no shots and that made her incredibly happy. Her ear infection from her b-day weekend was completely cleared up. He did freak me out a bit by taking FOREVER to listen to her heart. I was seriously starting to panic. Fortunately, when he pulled away after her last big breath he let out a BIG laugh and told me that Ms. Kendyl must be ready for her after school snack b/c her growling belly was making it incredibly hard to listen to her heart!!!

Height- 3'9.5" (50%)
Weight- 41.5lbs (25%)
According to the doc her growth looks good. It seems funny to me that she's gained a few inches, but less than a pound in a whole year. I guess her knobby knees are here to stay:-) Her food tastes are expanding so I'm not worried about her nutritionally and the kid can EAT. Her newest favs are grilled chicken (so glad she is preferring that over fried tenders at restaurants these days), edamame, and pineapple. The child is still following in my footsteps and resisting all cheese with the exception of pizza, but at least she likes yogurt.
