Many times we have passed Cabellas on the way to visit my uncle. Everytime I found a reason not to extend our trip by going into what I thought was just a glorified sporting goods store. This trip dad tried to get us to take the girls in yet again, but after a two hour lunch we just wanted to get back on the road.
On the trip home the girls were getting restless and bathroom breaks were needed for everyone. Since we were close to Cabellas we decided we'd make a quick stop and check it out so everyone could stretch their legs. We went in with very low expectations and boy were we surprised with what we found. From the HUGE built in aquariums to the incredible wildlife displays we were not disappointed.
The girls thoroughly enjoyed every minute. I called dad after we left to apologize for putting off going inside for so many years. At least we know better next time!
