On the trip from West Virginia to Pennsylvania we were looking to burn some time and break the trip up a bit for the girls. After seeing a brochure for a putt-putt place at a stop on the turnpike, we thought it might be the perfect answer. The place wasn’t quite as impressive as it seemed in pictures and gave us a chuckle as I took pics because we could imagine the thoughts that would arise when people looked at them. It was definitely leaning towards the hick side of things, but it fit our needs and we had a good time. We had a picnic and played on some of the makeshift playground-like equipment, shot 18 holes, rode go-karts, and took a little train ride.
We ended our visit at a little ice cream place down the street with yummy strawberry and vanilla twist cones…YUM! We probably wouldn’t go there again, but we’re glad we checked it out.

I wouldn't call it Griswold family vacation! Despite what adults think, it doesn't take much to please kids, thank goodness! They look absolutely thrilled! :)
Your story is too funny, but the girls definitely looked like they had a blast.
